The role is primarily accountable for inventory accuracy across all outlets. The role reports to the Purchasing Manager and is key to ensuring accurate replenishment orders are placed by the ERP system. Working closely with the Operations team, the Inventory Controller’s tasks include:

1)Training the operations team on the proper storage and counting of items for updating into the Inventory Management System.
2) Monitoring and reporting on inventory accuracy KPI and working with Operations to take action on those outlets that deviate from standards.
3) Identifying and investigating inventory variances (suspicious or material) and propose solutions to minimize leakages.
4) Keeping records of inventory adjustments for outlets for audit.
5) Working with Demand Planner to set par and re-order levels for outlet needs.
6) Monitoring stock on hand in 3rd party warehouse and ensure adequate stock cover for uninterrupted operations.
7) Conducting period inventory checks and audits on inventory at outlets.
