A Delegate Sales Executive is responsible for the sale of tickets to international conferences and events. This is a telesales role that involves selling to high-level executives in a particular industry. Delegates attend events in order to bolster their company's profile and visibility, therefore it is a Delegate Sales Executive's role to engage with clients and make them aware of the benefits of attending a specific conference or event. In addition to their basic salary, a Delegate Sales Executive will earn an increased amount through commission and can potentially double their salary in a year.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES- Key Performance Indicators
• Working with the conference production team to develop an understanding of the event program
• Researching attendees and generating sales leads
• Cold calling and selling to a list of prospective event attendees
• Engaging with clients on the phone and developing lasting relationships
• Daily management and maintenance of sales records, ensuring they are kept up to date with attendees and details
• Working with the marketing department to convert inbound sales inquiries into leads
• Achieving monthly and overall revenue targets
• Making a high number of calls to meet daily KPIs, to be set by management
• Supporting delegates through the registration process
• To meet or succeed yearly and monthly revenue targets by selling consistently to all possible targets; repeat delegates, new clients, and prospects.
• To convince the prospect of the benefits of attending our events
• To exchange information and give necessary feedback as and when needed by colleagues in different departments at the office
• To make at least 120 calls per day on average over a week – the role requires significant time on the phone to contact clients and prospects.
• To complete accurately and send the weekly sales report sheet to your manager
• To sell on whichever event as necessity demands as directed by your manager
• To be able to work extra hours as and when required
• To ensure that business conduct reflects an enthusiastic and efficient image of the department
• You will be present at certain events and meet clients directly face-to-face
