RM2500 - 3200 / month

Employment Type: 6-month contract, renewable based on performance
Placement: All successful candidates will be placed under Asia Recruit (AR).

Working Hours & Days
Working hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
Flexible start time: Employees may start as late as 9:30 AM, with the corresponding latest end time of 6:30 PM.
Training period: New joiners are required to work 6 days per week during training. Employees who meet the required KPI and accuracy targets may transition to a 5-day working week.
After training: 5 working days per week, from Thursday to Monday.
Weekly off days: Tuesday and Wednesday.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end customer onboarding, including account verification, name screening, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and outbound calls.
Screen newly registered customers against relevant watchlists, including MOHA and UNSCR sanctions lists.
Review potential matches involving high-risk countries, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), adverse media and sanctions, escalating findings to the Compliance team where necessary.
Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) by requesting, reviewing and verifying KYC documents and supporting information.
Prepare EDD case files and recommendations for Senior Management approval.
Meet daily productivity targets, service-level agreements (SLAs), alert turnaround times and accuracy KPIs.
Support Team Leaders, Associate Managers, Operations Support Managers and the Head of AML/CFT Unit with operational tasks, projects and initiatives.
Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders and external parties to facilitate onboarding and due diligence activities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customer due diligence procedures, AML/CFT policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
Perform other duties assigned in line with operational and business requirements.
