Environmental Assessment Assistant Consultant
Key Responsibilities:
- Support project teams to ensure the highest quality of professional services.
- Prepare comprehensive consultancy reports, proposals, and presentations tailored to various environmental assessment engagements.
- Oversee project processes, including quality approval, process control, and vendor proposal management.
- Collaborate with project team to conduct site surveys, inspections, and measurements to meet specific project requirements.
- Liaise with clients, IEC, ET, contractors, relevant authorities, and stakeholders on all project matters.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as required to support project success.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Degree in Engineering or Science related to Chemical, Civil, Environmental, or equivalent.
- Professional Qualifications: MHKIQEP, MHKIE, or equivalent qualifications in environmental disciplines.
- Ability to perform interdisciplinary technical work and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken Chinese and English.
- Liaise on all matters relating to environmental monitoring and auditing
- Ability to undertake interdisciplinary technical work and able to work under pressure in a fast work environment
- Noise impact assessment (NoiseMap on traffic noise & railway noise and fixed noise)
- Air quality impact assessment (EMFAC, Caline4, AERMOD and PATH)
- Drainage and sewage impact assessment (experience in 3D hydraulic model preferred)
- Land contamination assessment
- Air ventilation assessment (expert evaluation and CFD simulation for initial study.
