Facilities Technician
Role and Responsibilities:-
- Assist in daily M&E operations, including planned maintenance, inspections, and upkeep of common areas.
- Perform weekly checks and minor troubleshooting on M&E systems.
- Manage stock control for mechanical and electrical materials.
- Attend to ad-hoc complaints and emergency calls promptly.
- Support major breakdown responses by reinforcing manpower as needed.
- Ensure service contractors perform work according to contract standards.
- Supervise and accompany contractors during routine servicing.
- Handle minor M&E repairs and general handyman tasks (e.g., fixing fixtures, touch-up painting).
- Undertake other M&E-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:-
- Ability to take on physically demanding work
- Minimum SPM qualification
- At least 1 year of experience in maintenance of M&E systems and building facilities
- Able to travel within Islandwide
- Able to work Morning shifts, Afternoon shifts and Night shifts
- Able to work at various sites
