Merchandiser cum Trainer - PlayStation (Gaming Product)
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Merchandiser cum Trainer to support PlayStation's retail presence. In this role, you will help ensure products are presented effectively in stores, monitor merchandising standards and stock availability, and help retail teams build the product knowledge and selling confidence needed to deliver a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned retail outlets to check merchandising standards, take store-display photos and submit visit reports.
- Set up and maintain product displays in accordance with brand and visual merchandising guidelines.
- Work with retail teams to implement merchandising plans and maintain consistent product presentation.
- Monitor product availability and coordinate with outlet personnel on replenishment needs.
- Provide product guidance and training to retail staff on product features, merchandising practices and customer-facing selling techniques.
- Observe market trends and competitor activities, and recommend ways to improve product visibility and the in-store experience.
- Support roadshows, promotional events, product launches, new outlet openings and VIP visits as required.
- Attend team meetings and provide updates on outlet visits, findings and follow-up actions.
Requirement
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills (Malay & English).
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Well-organized, with good planning and time-management skills.
- Willing to travel to different retail outlets as required (have your own Transport - Car).
- Results-oriented with a proactive attitude and strong negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and reporting tools.
- Previous exposure to merchandising, product displays or retail training is an advantage, but training and guidance may be provided.
