Salary Package:
- Basic Salary: RM1,700 – RM2,200
- Skill Allowance: RM200
Job Responsibilities
- Cut and trim meat from larger portions into different cuts.
- Weigh, pack, label and price meat products accurately.
- Receive and inspect meat deliveries to ensure quality, freshness and valid expiry dates.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding product quality and freshness issues.
- Maintain cleanliness of meat preparation counters, storage areas, equipment and the department.
- Monitor chiller temperatures and update daily temperature records.
- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) practices are followed.
- Check product prices, descriptions and display labels for accuracy.
- Monitor stock movement and recommend stock replenishment.
- Perform general operational and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Halal: Minimum 1 year of relevant meat-cutting experience.
- Non-Halal: Minimum 1 year of experience in the slaughtering industry.
- Customer-service oriented.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
