(Job Description)
An Assistant Supervisor in event management helps coordinate and oversee event operations to ensure everything runs smoothly before, during, and after an event.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the supervisor in planning and organizing events
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and event crews
Monitor event setup, registration, and operational flow
Ensure staff follow schedules, SOPs, and safety procedures
Handle guest or participant inquiries professionally
Support problem-solving during live events
Communicate with different departments to ensure smooth execution
Supervise team members and ensure tasks are completed on time
Required Skills
Good communication and leadership skills
Strong teamwork and coordination ability
Time management and multitasking skills
Problem-solving under pressure
Basic knowledge of event operations and customer service
Ability to work flexible hours during events
