Procurement & Inventory Manager

We are seeking a strategic Procurement & Inventory Manager to bridge management, the manufacturing lead and vendors, speeding up procurement while keeping materials available through rapid production pivots.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics for high-mix shipments and mitigate supply chain risks such as shipping delays, tariffs and China–Singapore export regulation changes.
- Maintain and audit Major Exporter Scheme (MES) status for IRAS compliance.
- Lead supplier negotiations, including contract review and WeChat communication with Chinese suppliers, and secure flexible low-volume terms without excessive MOQ penalties.
- Monitor stock health in Odoo ERP and reconcile receipts, deliveries and shipments for inventory accuracy.
- Forecast material requirements from historical data and develop inventory control policies.
- Replace manual spreadsheets with automated alerts, dashboards and real-time reporting.
- Track supplier performance on price, quality and delivery.
- Report weekly to management on lead times, landed cost variances and inventory performance.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce lead times, expedite costs and shortages.
Requirements
- 5+ years in supply chain or procurement in manufacturing; HMLV experience highly preferred.
- Professional proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is essential.
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, Power Query); Power BI a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic components and reels; MSL handling awareness a plus.
- Strong inventory planning, forecasting and data analysis skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, process discipline and documentation.
- High integrity, reliability and accountability.
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
