Job Title: Sales Interior Designer
Role Overview:
We are seeking a driven Sales Interior Designer to lead showroom design sales, prepare practical interior presentations, and serve as the direct right-hand liaison to the local China Director. This hybrid position blends creative sales design, executive bilingual coordination, and digital lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Design & Client Consultation:
- Attend to walk-in clients and consultation appointments at the showroom; assess design and renovation requirements.
- Produce 2D space layouts, detailed cabinetry drawings, and high-speed 3D visual renderings to present and close sales.
- Prepare material specifications, project quotations, and contract documentation.
- Direct Assistance to Local China Director:
- Work directly alongside the local China Director, under guidance of a local Malaysian.
- Provide seamless English & Chinese translation (spoken and written) for client meetings, site discussions, and operational paperwork.
- Site Visits & Coordination:
- Conduct occasional on-site visits for precise site measurements, contractor alignment, and quality verification.
Remuneration & Commission Structure
- Basic Salary: Fixed competitive monthly salary based on experience and design skill level.
- Sales Commission: Attractive tiered commission on signed design, cabinetry, and renovation packages.
Requirements
- Technical & Software Proficiency: Practical proficiency in AutoCAD, Kujiale, and SketchUp for fast-turnaround floor plans and 3D visuals.
- Language Skills: Fluent professional Mandarin and English (verbal & written) to interface between the China Director, local clients, and contractors.
- Experience: Background in interior design, sales design, cabinetry planning, and site coordination.
- Location & Mobility: Showroom-based with own transport for site measurements and coordination visits.
- Attributes: Strong client-facing presence, commercial awareness, proactive mindset, and good multi-tasking skills.
