Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead the operations of our new semi-fine dining restaurant under an international brand.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in restaurant operations, new outlet pre-opening, staff training, manpower planning and scheduling, with the ability to manage a diverse, multinational team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and ensure high standards of service, quality and guest experience.
- Lead the pre-opening and opening of the new outlet, including operational preparation, SOP implementation, mock service and opening readiness.
- Recruit, train, coach and develop restaurant staff to meet international service standards.
- Manage and motivate a multinational and multicultural team effectively.
- Prepare staff schedules, duty rosters and manpower deployment according to business needs.
- Conduct daily briefings and ensure smooth coordination between FOH and BOH.
- Maintain high standards of guest service, restaurant presentation, cleanliness and staff grooming.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and ensure effective service recovery.
- Monitor sales performance, labour costs, wastage and operating expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
- Work closely with the General Manager, Chef, HR, Finance, Purchasing, suppliers and contractors.
- Support management in achieving sales, profitability and operational targets.
