Key Accountabilities
- Collect customs paperwork documents and pass it to customs, 24/7 work coverage as a gateway station
- Perform truck seal and break seal activities
- Perform customs assessment including job related with other government agency (OGA) such as MAQIS, Wildlife dept, Pharmacy dept, Health dept, KDN, SIRIM & etc
- Assist balance sheet assessment for MIDA shipments approval
- Coordinate and assisting on cargo examination/inspection activities between customs or OGA
- Perform strategic trade items (STA) assessment while truck come into FCZ area
- Prepare and process duty & tax payment at Wisma Kastam
- Collect customs official receipt (COR) at Wisma Kastam upon shipments cleared/released
- Assist to obtains customs approval on partial release, cargo pullback, return shipment and etc
- Sort documents – matching customs form against COR from Wisma Kastam
- File customs paperwork such as customs appendix inbound and outbound
- Assist on submitting customs appointment letter application and follow-up on the approval
- Adhoc request – revision approval, to check on IMP & EXP requirements, submit cancellation form, request letter to customs & etc
- Scan and upload customs form and COR into EDM system
- Support development of CDZ process and process improvement via electronic solutions
Skills & Experiences
- Possess minimum SPM or any any related certificates.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in declaration and clearance of air/ sea freight cargo.
- Possess good communication and inter-personal skills
- Have basic knowledge in Microsoft office
- A fast learner with good initiative and work attitude
- Meticulous, ability to multi-task and able to work in fast-paced environment
