Desert Dessert is looking for a passionate and responsible Baker to join our growing team. We specialise in premium cakes, desserts, gelato, and café products, focusing on quality ingredients and consistent presentation.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake cakes, sponge, cheesecakes, mille crepes, and dessert items
• Assist in cake assembly, decoration, and finishing
• Follow recipes and production SOPs accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen and equipment
• Support daily production planning and stock preparation
• Ensure product consistency and quality control
• Assist with packing and preparation for outlet deliveries
• Work closely with kitchen and operations team

Requirements

• Basic baking experience preferred (cake or pastry experience is a plus)
• Willing to learn and work in a team environment
• Responsible, organised, and able to work efficiently
• Able to work weekends and public holidays if required
• Positive attitude and good hygiene practices
• Fresh graduates or candidates with passion for baking are welcome to apply

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Experience in cake frosting or decoration
• Experience with commercial kitchen production
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards
• Able to handle fast-paced production environment
