Our client is a global technology and infrastructure solutions company supporting international operations across multiple markets.
Role: Permit Officer / Permit Declarant
Salary: RM1,800 – RM2,000 basic + incentive
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 5.5 days per week
Locations:
- Port Klang
- KLIA / Airport Area
- Batu Maung, Penang
Responsibilities
- Handle import and export permit declarations and related customs documentation.
- Prepare and check shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate customs clearance for import and export shipments.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, internal teams and relevant authorities.
- Ensure shipments and permit documentation are processed accurately and on time.
- Support other logistics and operational duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience in import/export, customs declaration, freight forwarding, logistics or 3PL environments.
- Familiar with customs procedures, permit declarations and shipping documentation.
- Able to handle import/export documentation accurately and independently.
- Detail-oriented with good communication and coordination skills.
- Candidates with relevant customs or declarant experience will have an advantage.
