Job description:
Job Summary
The Shift Supervisor is responsible for taking customers’ orders, answering questions, and making recommendations on menu items, serving food/beverages to customers, and performing cashiering duties. He/she is responsible for supervising staff working the floor, assigning their work stations, resolving work-related problems and ensuring the shift runs smoothly.
Roles & Responsibilities
- To provide excellent customer service to guests in a timely and friendly manner, ensuring diners a pleasant dining experience.
- All the service aspects with gradual introduction to management tasks and roles.
- Upsell promotional items.
- Ensure that food hygiene and safety standards are maintained and comply.
- Work together with other team members to provide good quality service.
- Execute any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent Customer Service
- Good command of spoken English
- Pleasant, friendly, cheerful and able to work under pressure and in a high-volume environment
- Min. Diploma in F&B management or any related fields
- At least 2 years of experience management in Food and Service Operations
