This opportunity is also open to fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications who are keen to build a career in CNC machining and precision engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and assist with CNC and manual machining processes, including Milling, Turning and Grinding.
- Set up and handle basic jigs, fixtures and tooling for machining operations.
- Read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions and machining specifications.
- Perform basic in-process quality checks using verniers, micrometers, gauges and other measuring instruments.
- Maintain machines, tools and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow production, quality and safety procedures.
- Support process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
- Perform other machining-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with 1–5 years of machining experience in Precision Engineering, Manufacturing, Metal or Aerospace are encouraged to apply.
- Basic hands-on experience or knowledge in Milling, Turning or Grinding.
- Able to identify and name the types of machines previously used.
- Relevant qualifications such as SKM Level 3 / Diploma in:
- Precision Engineering / Manufacturing
- Machining Operations / CNC / Manual Machining
- Machining Level 1 or 2
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings is an advantage.
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers, indicators or gauges is an advantage.
- Willing to learn, hands-on and able to work in a production environment.
