Description
The Client is the world's leading biotechnology company specializing in integrated systems for analyzing genetic variation and biological function. Below position is open urgently.
Position: Manufacturing Technician
Venue: Woodlands
Working Hours: 12 hours rotating shift, rotating every 4 months
Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing operations in compliance with cGMP, quality, safety, and work instructions.
- Set up equipment and perform functional testing before production.
- Conduct quality inspections, checks, and verification of products.
- Process work orders and perform transactions in MES and ERP systems.
- Carry out product assembly, kitting, packaging, and inventory-related activities.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and 6S standards.
- Monitor equipment and production processes, identify basic issues, and escalate when required.
- Support basic troubleshooting of products, processes, and equipment.
- Work closely with the production team to meet daily production targets and equipment efficiency.
- Perform autonomous maintenance (TPM) and assist with planned equipment maintenance.
- Assist in inventory checks, cycle counts, and incident investigations.
- Handle tools and equipment safely while following workplace safety procedures.
- Complete required certifications, training, and undertake additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
•Secondary School (minimum 5 years' operations experience) or GCE 'O' Level/equivalent (minimum 3 years' operations experience).
•Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical Engineering, or related Engineering disciplines is an advantage.
•Able to operate equipment and machinery such as forklift, scanner, power tools, etc
•Able to work standing for a prolonged periods of time without sitting
•Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts with shifts rotating every 4 months and staggered break times according to the work roster.
