We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support manufacturing processes, assembly optimisation and mass production of precision equipment, working closely with the Singapore R&D team.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical assembly processes, SOPs and work instructions from engineering drawings.
- Coordinate with Malaysian machining suppliers and assembly teams to resolve production and incoming-part quality issues.
- Improve assembly yield, efficiency and consistency through process optimisation.
- Implement design changes and optimise tooling, fixtures, reliability and costs.
- Support equipment commissioning, customer delivery and after-sales troubleshooting.
- Work with Singapore R&D on technical issues and product improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' mechanical manufacturing/process engineering experience in precision equipment.
- Proficient in SolidWorks or similar design software.
- Knowledge of machining, assembly, tolerance analysis and tooling/fixture design.
- Semiconductor or automation equipment mass-production experience is an advantage.
- Familiar with Malaysian manufacturing suppliers and supply chains.
- Good working English, cross-team communication and willingness to work in a factory environment.
