Job Summary
Join our climbing gym as a full time climbing gym crew member, delivering a welcoming and safe experience for climbers of all backgrounds and abilities. You will support daily operations, assist customers and help foster an inclusive, active community. We value merit, diversity and work-life balance.
Job Description
- Welcome visitors, manage check-ins, memberships, bookings and payments, and respond to enquiries with courtesy.
- Brief new climbers on gym rules and safety procedures, and monitor climbing areas to help maintain a safe environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including mats, holds, equipment rental areas and shared spaces.
- Support classes, events and school or group programmes, and assist with equipment checks and stock replenishment.
Job Requirements
- Work experience in a climbing / bouldering gyms is essential
- Strong customer service and communication skills in English and spoken Mandarin is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols; training in belay or climbing instruction will be provided where required.
- Ability to work shifts, 3 x single shifts and 2 x double shifts including weekends and public holidays, as part of a rotating roster.
- Team-oriented, reliable and enthusiastic about creating an inclusive community. Prior experience in service, fitness or education is welcome but not essential
