**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our Food & Beverage team in Malaysia. You will prepare high-quality dishes, maintain kitchen standards and contribute to an excellent dining experience for our diverse customers. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
**Job Description**
- Prepare, cook and present dishes to a consistent standard, following approved recipes and portion controls.
- Supervise kitchen staff, assist with menu planning and manage stock, ordering and food cost control to minimise waste.
- Maintain strict hygiene, food safety and workplace safety practices in line with Malaysian regulations, including halal requirements where applicable.
- Coordinate with front-of-house and management teams to ensure timely service, accommodating dietary and cultural needs.
**Job Requirements**
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen; a culinary diploma or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
- Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations; food handler certification is preferred.
- Strong teamwork, communication and time-management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, with scheduling that respects prayer times and religious and cultural observances. Proficiency in English is an advantage.
