Sales Engineer (go to customer sites and work from home) MELAKA

S$4500 - 6000 / month
🟦Location: Malacca, Malaysia
🟦Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
🟦Travel to clients site - work from home for Admin duties
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and application support to customers in the semiconductor industry.
- Conduct customer visits to provide product installation, evaluation, testing and technical support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product or test-floor issues to minimise downtime.
- Support new product setup, testing and customer buy-off activities.
- Monitor product performance and collect technical data from customer sites.
- Analyse defects, yield and performance data and provide feedback to the engineering team.
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve product performance.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation when required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or related fields).
- 1–3 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, test engineering or a related field preferred.
- Candidates with cleanroom, test-floor, application support, QA or failure analysis experience will have an advantage.
- Basic understanding of semiconductor testing, IC packaging or related processes is an advantage.
- Willing to travel regularly to customer sites across Malaysia.
- Japanese language skills will be an added advantage.
