Safety & Health Officer
Location: Ulu Tiram, Johor
Salary: Up to RM6,000 per month + Incentive

About the Company
The company specialises in industrial automation engineering solutions and sheet metal fabrication for industrial applications. They are seeking a qualified Safety & Health Officer (SHO) to manage workplace safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) matters within manufacturing operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure company operations comply with DOSH requirements, FMA and relevant occupational safety, health and environmental regulations.
- Prepare, review and update safety policies, SOPs, legal registers and EHS documentation.
- Conduct HIRARC assessments, workplace safety inspections and incident investigations.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions to minimise workplace risks and hazards.
- Implement and maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and liaise with relevant authorities.
- Prepare EHS reports and maintain updated safety records.
- Conduct safety training, emergency response drills and employee safety awareness programmes.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Valid DOSH Green Book and active registration as a Safety & Health Officer (SHO).
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience in implementing and auditing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- CePSWaM certification is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Malaysian occupational safety and health legislation.
- Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
