Requirements
- Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia
- Candidate possesses at least a SPM or above
- Minimally 1 year's experience in cake decorating, preferably in a bakery or similar setting.
- Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Proficiency in various cake decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and sugar crafting.
- Strong artistic ability and attention to detail to create visually stunning cake designs.
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines and manage multiple orders efficiently.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices related to cake decorating.
- Passion for baking and a genuine interest in creating memorable experiences through cake decoration.
Job Descriptions
- Design, sculpt, and decorate ice cream cakes using fondant, and other cake decorating techniques.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of customized cakes for customer orders.
- Decorate new cake designs for festive seasons and special events.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in the daily production and decoration of cakes for the outlets.
- Monitor stock levels of cake ingredients and materials, ensuring timely orders from suppliers.
- Check the quality of received ingredients and minimize spoilage.
- Utilize surplus ingredients efficiently to reduce waste.
