Electronics Retail Associate (RM 2000 - 2500 basic + commission)
About the Company
- Fast-growing Malaysian retail brand specialising in Apple devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers with their enquiries.
- Recommend suitable products based on customer needs.
- Explain product features, pricing, warranty, and ongoing promotions.
- Achieve sales targets through upselling and cross-selling.
- Handle basic customer enquiries and escalate complex issues to the Store Manager.
- Present products during livestream sessions, highlighting features, prices, and promotions.
- Engage with online viewers during livestreams by answering questions and encouraging purchases.
- Support the creation of social media content, including product videos, promotional posts, and highlights.
- Ensure products are properly displayed, labelled, priced, and arranged.
- Keep the store clean, organised, and visually appealing.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Receive stock, tag products, and update inventory records.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for transactions, cash handling, and customer service.
- Report product defects, customer complaints, and stock discrepancies.
Key Requirements
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in retail, sales, customer service, telecommunications, or electronics is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, responsible, punctual, and customer-oriented.
- Comfortable working towards sales targets.
- Interest in smartphones, gadgets, or technology is preferred.
- Confident participating in livestreams and social media selling.
- Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Willing to comply with SOPs, grooming, and attendance standards.
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
