BUILDING TECHNICIAN
Job Responsibilities
- Perform repairs, troubleshooting and back-end engineering maintenance to ensure reliable operational support.
- Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, medical and specialist systems according to their design and operational requirements.
- Ensure all required deliverables and contractual obligations are completed on time.
- Support the hospital’s daily operations, particularly its front-end engineering services.
- Perform corrective, reactive and planned preventive maintenance within the allocated resources and operational framework.
- Carry out and manage minor repairs and corrective maintenance work.
- Coordinate with other hospital service providers to maintain a safe, reliable and well-functioning environment for patients, staff and visitors.
- Support the integrated facilities management model by ensuring operations are productive, efficient and effective.
- Maintain strong working relationships with specialist subcontractors and hospital-appointed contractors.
- Monitor contractors and service providers to ensure compliance with required KPIs, service standards, client expectations and contractual obligations.
