1. Research and Data Analysis
- Research the Malaysian economy, investment trends, industrial development, regulatory changes, and political developments.
- Compile economic indicators and prepare business articles, reports, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Assist in coordinating outsourced research projects.
- Monitor investment trends and the operational status of Japanese companies in Malaysia.
2. Identifying Potential Business Partners
- Research and identify potential Malaysian partner companies for collaboration with Japanese companies.
- Compile and organise company information to support business matching activities.
3. Coordination and Communication
- Arrange meetings and business trips for company advisors and directors.
- Coordinate business meetings between Malaysian and Japanese companies and government agencies.
- Manage, monitor, and report on business inquiries and related cases.
4. Administrative Support
- Provide administrative assistance and other ad hoc support as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to conduct online research and organise information accurately.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, including professional telephone and email communication.
- Good command of Japanese and English is mandatory.
- Ability to communicate in Malay and/or Mandarin is an advantage.
- Experience in research, data analysis, or business support is an advantage.
- An academic background in economics or a related field is preferred.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
